I'm Jake, a New Zealand-born Software Engineer based in Barcelona.
Currently working as a Software Engineer with Viaplay where I'm working with the Sales Conversion team to power customer conversion by improving and maintaining the checkout process of the Viaplay streaming service.
Until 2022, I was Director and co-founder of Lab3 Apps, a full service software development agency based in NZ and the UK. I've worked as a full stack engineer across numerous projects in insurance, health and fitness, real estate, and television.
I'm an experienced engineer with a particular interest in frontend web and an eye for detail and good design. With 9 years of experience working in software teams, including 6 years running Lab3, I have developed cross-framework skills in building a wide range of web and native applications.
I have a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of Canterbury.
